Overview

Roland JP-80×0 Editor & Librarian Plug-in is the first and the only plug-in to control your Roland JP-8000 / JP-8080 right from your DAW. With JP-80×0, you can work with your Roland JP-8000 / JP-8080 by the same way you use your VSTi and AudioUnit plug-ins. JP-80×0 will recall your patch settings when you open your project and the data will be sent to your JP-8000 / JP-8080 automatically once you open your project.

The only thing you need to worry, is that you power-up your JP-8000 / JP-8080 synth. This plug-in is great even if your JP-8000 / JP-8080 is broken = knobs & sliders not working.

Why Editor says reload license after copying license to right folder?

FAQs Knowledge Level

Frequently Asked Questions

There are usually two reasons for that:

  1. Plug-in has failed to read the license file. Make sure the license is called “license.key” in the plug-in folder and not “license.key.txt”. If you see .txt appended, rename the file to “license.key” and try to validate again.
  2. Plug-in has failed to locate the license.key. Make sure the license is in the plug-in folder, ie: Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Presets/Mystery Islands Music/(plugin name)/license.key

Note that Version 3 has a new location AND name for license.key. License should be placed in /Users/(your username)/Music/AURA Plugins/(“plug-in name”)/”plug-in name”.license

Sample below:

[macOS] ~/Music/AURA Plugins/Access Virus Editor/Access Virus Editor.license
[Windows] ~\Music\AURA Plugins\Access Virus Editor\Access Virus Editor.license
